When Mike M. found that water was getting into his crawl space, he decided he needed help, and fast! Mike found Thrasher Basement System online and decided to give them a call. Waterproofing specialist Charles Kneifl met with him at his home soon after with a plan to solve his problem.
With Charles' guidance, Juan Matos and his crew came in and installed CleanSpace drainage matting. This, in combination with the CleanSpace Liner, would help drain the current water and prevent moisture from getting into the crawl space in the future. The liner is 20-mil and treated with an antimicrobial finish that protects against mold and mildew growth. For extra protection against moisture control, a Sani-Dry CX was installed. The Sani-Dry is a dehumidifier that covers up to a 2200 sq. ft. crawl space and can pump out 109 pints of water a day.
When home repairs come to mind, crawl space troubles aren’t always the first thing in a homeowner’s mind. However, crawl space problems need to be taken care of and thanks to the professionals at Thrasher Basement Systems, Mike’s crawl space will stay dry for a long time!
Basement flooding is one of the worst troubles a homeowner can encounter. When Dave & Susan F. found water coming in through the window during rains, they knew a professional solution was a necessity! Thanks to a referral by a close friend, the couple contacted Thrasher Basement Systems, hoping for professional expertise to solve their flooding problem.
Soon after the couple contacted Thrasher, they were met by representative Mike Holverson at their Columbus household. Mike started off by surveying and analyzing the basement. He then recommended installing the SuperSump sump pump. The SuperSump is top of the line, with the ability to pump 2220 gallons out an hour, comes with an eight-foot discharge line, and will keep any home water free for years. A DryTrak basement drainage system was recommended as well. This system is attached to the perimeter of your basement flooring and directs all water and seepage toward the sump pump to be removed from the basement.
With the recommendations agreed upon, primary foreman Felipe Valdez and his crew came in and installed the products in a quick and orderly fashion. Now when the couple goes into their basement, they no longer feel stress and anxiety but rather pleasure and content knowing that the professionals at Thrasher Basement Systems have done quality work to protect their basement for years to come.
Margaret S. started to notice that horizontal wall cracks in her basement were getting bigger and bigger & the wall was bowing in. She realized that all of these issues she was experiencing might be caused by a settling foundation. Something needed to be done before the cracks got any worse. After researching foundation issues online, she came across highly rated Thrasher Basement Systems.
Foundation specialist Trevor Stokes inspected the home’s foundation and informed the homeowner that the problem would need to be taken care of sooner rather than later to avoid any further damage. He thoroughly explained all of the suggested repairs before Aaron Wilson and his crew began the installation process. They installed a number of Geo-Lock Wall Anchors to help lift and stabilize the foundation. Anchors are embedded in stable, undisturbed soil outside your foundation wall. Each anchor is connected by a steel rod to a wall plate that provides clamping pressure against the inside of the foundation wall. This method also offers the potential straighten the wall back to its original position.
Upon completion of the project, Margaret was able to rest easy, thanks to the team at Thrasher Basement Systems!
