|Why Choose Us:
Paul of Gretna, NE became concerned when she saw cracks in her basement walls. She knew that this was the result of poor foundations and knew that she needed professional help and fast. After talking to a contractor friend of his, he called Thrasher to see if they could help him fix his problem.
The cracking walls needed supports underneath them, so expansion joints were installed to prevent any shifting in the foundation, especially if there was an earthquake or any other natural disaster that could cause instability in the supports of the house. The expansion joints will also help keep the foundations of the wall stable which resolved the cracking in the walls.
The project took only one day to install. Thanks to Thrasher and their product, Paul isn’t worried about his house’s foundations.
Robert C. once had a nicely finished basement with carpeting and drywall until heavy rains brought along flooding in the basement. As a result he had to throw everything out and start from scratch. He also wanted to make sure the flooding never happened again. After being referred by a friend he decided to give Thrasher Basement Systems a call. Shortly after the call, Mike Spencer was out to give the homeowner a quote.
Mike suggested the best course of action was to have Mel Martinez and his crew come out to install DryTrak & a TripleSafe sump pump. DryTrak is a system where weep holes are drilled into the floor/wall joint or, in the case of a block wall, into the walls themselves. Once this is done, a hollow vinyl baseboard is epoxied to the floor. The water is then directed into the system and drained to the TripleSafe. The TripleSafe is one of the best sump pumps on the market. With the addition of both a second pump and a battery backup sump pump, it is the most ideal and safest solution for basement waterproofing.
After the waterproofing was complete Robert was safe to start on the refinishing of the basement. To start off, he had the crew install EverLast wall panels. This wall solution has been designed from inorganic materials that are water resistant and does not support mold growth. With all of this work said and done, Robert is very happy he decided to go with Thrasher for his basement waterproofing and finishing needs!
Jon & Michelle L. have a partially finished basement with major water damage to the drywall. They were very concerned about the health risks of the mold growth that was forming. They were fed up with fighting a losing battle with their mess of a basement. Good thing a friend suggested Thrasher Basement System, they would soon be the answer to Jon & Michelle's basement worries.
Basement waterproofing specialist Matt Caniglia came out to give the couple an estimate that would suit their needs. He suggested that Juan Matos come with his crew to install a WaterGuard drainage system. A perimeter drain system that would guide water in the basement to the TripleSafe sump pump, which is one of the best pumps on the market. It has a second pump and a battery back up sump pump for safety during power outages. In addition, Juan installed a SaniDry dehumidifier that covers up to 2500 sq. ft. and removes moisture from the air to make the home mold and mildew free.
With all of these things combined, Jon & Michelle can finish their basement without worry of water damage and health risks due to mold. This is all thanks to Thrasher Basement Systems!
Basement flooding is one of the worst troubles a homeowner can encounter. When Dave & Susan F. found water coming in through the window during rains, they knew a professional solution was a necessity! Thanks to a referral by a close friend, the couple contacted Thrasher Basement Systems, hoping for professional expertise to solve their flooding problem.
Soon after the couple contacted Thrasher, they were met by representative Mike Holverson at their Columbus household. Mike started off by surveying and analyzing the basement. He then recommended installing the SuperSump sump pump. The SuperSump is top of the line, with the ability to pump 2220 gallons out an hour, comes with an eight-foot discharge line, and will keep any home water free for years. A DryTrak basement drainage system was recommended as well. This system is attached to the perimeter of your basement flooring and directs all water and seepage toward the sump pump to be removed from the basement.
With the recommendations agreed upon, primary foreman Felipe Valdez and his crew came in and installed the products in a quick and orderly fashion. Now when the couple goes into their basement, they no longer feel stress and anxiety but rather pleasure and content knowing that the professionals at Thrasher Basement Systems have done quality work to protect their basement for years to come.
Homeowner Pat W. found himself in a tight spot when water began flooding his basement. Pat knew that he needed to find a waterproofing company who could repair his wet basement and prevent future flooding in his Blair home. He asked around and after a phone call from a close friend he found out about Thrasher Basement Systems, who he contacted for a free estimate.
Waterproofing specialist Cole Hathon from Thrasher arrived promptly to inspect the problem and recommend the proper solutions. Cole took a look at Pat's basement and found that water was seeping in from the foundation, causing flooding to his basement. After some deliberation Pat and Cole came to an agreement on products that were both cost efficient and effective. Cole explained that a SuperSump sump pump was a must to remove water from the basement and keep it dry. This sump pump is top of the line on the market, with the ability to pump 2220 gallons out an hour, comes with an eight-foot discharge line. In combination with the sump pump, a WaterGuard drainage system and IceGuard discharge line were recommended. The WaterGuard is installed along the perimeter of the basement to catch incoming water seepage and direct it towards the sump pump. The sump pump then discharges the water through the IceGuard which prevents the water from freezing even in the coldest of winters. Foreman Mel Martinez and his crew were called in to complete the installation process.
Thanks to the professionals at Thrasher Basement Systems Pat's basement is drier than ever and will stay that way through even the heaviest of rain storms. And what’s better? The waterproofing system took only one day to install!
Local homeowners Jenny & Marv K. were worried about the effects of high radon levels in their home. They decided to conduct a radon test and take action if necessary. The self-test reading was well above the “safe” level of 4 pCi/L. Jenny heard from a friend about Thrasher, who could help lower the radon levels in their Bennington home.
Mr. & Mrs. K scheduled an inspection and estimate with Thrasher Basement Systems. Radon removal specialist Aaron Hunter recommended that a radon mitigation system be installed. Radon mitigation reduces radon levels to a safer amount. Barry Cavanagh came shortly after to install the system that will help get the harmful, dangerous gases away from the home through piping.
Now the homeowners can be rest assured that the air that they are breathing is safe and healthy!
