Photo Album: Egress Window in Omaha, NE

These homeowners wanted to finish the basement in the home. They wanted to make it living space for their family, but it was not considered a living space. It only had one small window, not an egress window. By adding two egress windows, they would be able to consider it a living space, finish the basement, and make it into a family room and a bedroom. They knew of Thrasher's reputation, and gave us a called. PJ Smith, System Design Specialist, came out to meet with them. This free inspection and quote went a little different than others as the homeowners already had a contract with another company. PJ explained to the homeowners how we install our egress window and why we are different than other companies. The homeowners believed in our projects just as much as we do, and decided to cancel their other contract and go with us! We sent out our installation team and got started. Check out the progress of getting these egress windows installed in the photos attached! The homeowner was so happy with the end product, and thought it looks great in the home. There is no doubt they are ready to get a great family room built!

This is the old basement window. It is covered behind the cardboard, but it is still not considered a good escape in case of an emergency. Our egress windows are a great option to help this problem.

In this Before Photo, you can see how there is a gap in the window well that can allow rain, debris, and even creatures right to the window below.

We have a couple different options for our egress windows. This photo shows a great option of a sliding egress window. Even though it is a sliding window, it is covered by a window well, so no water or debris will be getting in. Through the window you can also see the stair steps, allowing easy access outside of the home if needed.

This Egress Window Well is custom to our Egress Windows only. It is a great window well that does not allow any water or debris to get in, but is very easy to pop open from below if necessary.

This flat option for a window well is a great alternative. It lets any rain or debris flow off of it instead of down into the well.
