The Sarpy County Chamber proudly serves the communities of Bellevue, Gretna, La Vista, Papillion, Springfield, and greater Sarpy County as the primary business resource in Sarpy County. The Apartment Association of Nebraska, Inc. (AAN) was founded by a group of property managers and owners in July of 2002. Their vision included an association that would help create and maintain a high level of professionalism in the multi-family rental housing industry. On October 5, 2002 the AAGOL received it’s charter from the National Apartment Association (NAA). In 2014, the name was changed to the Apartment Association of Nebraska to better represent our membership.
The Nebraska Chapter, Associated General Contractors of America is a dynamic professional construction organization which is composed of 81 contractor members and 139 service providers and suppliers across the state of Nebraska. These firms are responsible for working with federal, state, county, and municipal governments in the construction, maintenance, and repair of over 100,000 miles of highways in Nebraska. However, they also do a wide variety of associated work for a myriad of other public and private customers throughout Nebraska utilizing a full range of horizontal construction capabilities. Some of these customers include railroads, dairy farms, telephone companies, conservation organizations, foundation work for building contractors, and many others.
Our mission is to provide value to our membership and owners by maintaining and improving working relationships in all phases of the contracting industry. The goals of the Nebraska Chapter of the Associated General Contractors include but are not limited to: Represent heavy, highway, bridge, municipal/utility contractors Promote safety and training Offer member networking opportunities Build industry partnerships Government relations Develop industry workforce.
Center Sphere members meet weekly in chapters made up of one representative from each business industry. We have smaller more intimate groups and larger groups capped at 35 members. These members are active movers and shakers in the community motivated to grow their business and contacts. Our members form bonds not typically found in everyday TIPS or LEADS groups. They take the time out of the everyday grind to get to know one another in a more social, personal atmosphere. The Nebraska Concrete and Aggregates Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a clearing house through which members may coordinate their efforts. These efforts include: the promotion of Ready Mixed Concrete and Aggregates products and the handling of common problems related to the industry. The Association also represents and acts for the industries before all divisions of government and those public and private organizations whose work affects the industries. Our goal is to establish and maintain the highest standards and business practices; and performs such acts and services for the industries and its members as may be more satisfactorily performed by group, rather than individual action.
NCPA’s Mission TO assure that the quality of concrete pavement produced by the concrete paving industry members in Nebraska meets the highest standards. USGBC Nebraska Flatwater Chapter (USGBC NFC) is a network of professionals working to promote environmentally responsible, economically feasible, occupant-friendly building design and support the LEED Rating System on a local level.
