The most common problem we see with older concrete is driveway cracking. Concrete driveways are durable, but driving the weight of a car back and forth for years will stress any construction material to its limit. In response to the constant weight and the regular freeze and thaw that we see here in the Midwest, small cracks will begin to appear on almost any driveway or sidewalk.
To protect your driveway, sidewalk and concrete patios, we've developed a proprietary silicone-based caulking called NexusPro™. Like traditional polyurethane caulking, NexusPro™ silicone caulking helps to stop the moisture penetration that happens as a result of concrete cracks.
Thrasher's NexusPro™ silicone caulking is a durable, flexible and water-resistant product that is injected into concrete cracks to stop water penetration. Once the caulking has set, the concrete crack no longer allows moisture from rain or snow to seep below the concrete slab. It's also resistant to ultraviolet light which helps to avoid drying and cracking that is common with other caulking products.

As you can see, this concrete driveway was in desperate need of some lifting and leveling. With a minimal amount of PolyLEVEL, Thrasher was able to take this homeowner's driveway mess and turn it into a driveway miracle.
Expanding and contracting soil can cause concrete driveways to shift, settle and crack over time. Rather than letting the damage continue, making repairs can extend the life of the driveway and prolong the need for full replacement. Take a look at the before and after shots on this driveway we repaired in Fort Calhoun, NE.
For this project, we used PolyLevel® to raise the concrete and create a safe, even surface. After leveling, we used silicone caulking to seal the joints. This prevents water penetration, and protects the soil underneath the driveway against erosion and washout - the two main causes of cracked, heaved and uneven concrete.
A few extra weeds didn't stop our crews from lifting, leveling, repairing and sealing this long, narrow Lincoln driveway. In addition to extending the life of her concrete driveway, this homeowner will now enjoy some added curb appeal and a smooth ride from street to driveway.
At Thrasher, we have effective, warrantied solutions to solve cracked concrete issues of all types. To help you decide if our solutions are right for you, we offer free written concrete crack repair inspections throughout Nebraska, Iowa, and Missouri.
