We installed a comprehensive basement waterproofing system for this homeowner in Bel Aire, Kansas so that his basement home office and important document would remain dry, safe and clean during heavy rain and snow melts.

IceGuard and Buried Discharge Line

Our IceGuard prevents water being pumped out of the basement during the colder months from backing up due to freezing conditions. For this project we also buried the discharge line to keep it out of sight and discharge any water far away from the home's foundation.

Full Perimeter Drainage System

Our experience has shown that once water finds its way into a basement, the best solution for keeping the space dry is a drainage system that runs the full perimeter of the space.

TripleSafe sump pump

Our TripleSafe sump pump (lower left corner) is our best solution for keeping basements dry. It includes a primary pump, a secondary pump for instances when water volume is high, and finally a third battery backup pump that operates in the event of a power outage - a common occurrence during severe rain storms.

Latteral drainage

In some cases, installing latteral drain tile (runs diagonally) in addition to the standard perimeter drain tile is required to allow water to flow into the sump pit more freely.
