We're on a mission to redefine the contractor industry

Since 1975, Thrasher has been more than just a contractor - we've been a constant in the lives of families throughout the Midwest. Our purpose is clear: to redefine the industry. This means raising the bar for what homeowners can expect from a contractor. We've all experienced frustrating contractors - the ones where promises aren't kept, timelines get stretched, and quality is compromised. It's time for a change. That's why we've dedicated ourselves to changing the way people think about contractors.

Our journey began almost 50 years ago, and today, we're setting new standards for the homeowner - contractor relationship. We're not just fixing homes; we're restoring your faith in exceptional service. Because we believe that raising the bar with us means raising it for all contractors.

Our Story

Step back to 1975 when Thrasher was born as a small family business , with Greg Thrasher at its heart, in a humble Iowa farmhouse. Greg's vision and dedication, with his wife Nancy, nurtured the business from its inception. What started as the "friendly family down the street that does waterproofing" has transformed into a company that employs hundreds of hardworking individuals across multiple Midwest locations. But one thing remains true: as we've expanded, family is the very core of our identity.

Our purpose

Our purpose

To redefine the industry

Contractors have a bad rap - for good reason, too. It's common to experience contractors who don't show up, don't return calls, and don't clean up after themselves. Well, we're on a mission to change that. We believe in a world where the contractor cares deeply and builds a long-term relationship with you, from the very first call to the final handshake. We believe experiences can be remarkable. We believe we can redefine the industry.
