Concrete Repair Services Photo Album: Driveway Repair in Omaha, NE

These homeowners had been living in their home for over 20 years and have been putting a lot of work into making it nice inside and out. They have a lot of concrete and wanted to protect it, so they would not have to worry about replacing it in the future. They gave us a call, and Shane McClintic came out to meet them. Shane found due to washout, the concrete was settling. There was also changes happening from snow melt and ice melting and refreezing on the surface. Shane proposed we use PolyLevel to lift, level, and stabilize, NexusPro is seal the joints and cracks, and SealantPro to seal the surface. Shane also proposed we use Compression Guard to prevent damage from street creep. Check out the photos attached to the process of this project!

On this top portion of the concrete, you can see it starting to crack and sink. When water gets under the concrete, it can wash away the soil that is holding it up. This causes little to no support for the concrete. This then can cause the concrete to start to sink, and when it sinks it can start to crack as well.

Unsealed and Slight Sinking Driveway

When the joints between each slab are unsealed, like in this photo, it can cause water to get through and under the concrete. This can then cause washout and allow concrete to settle.

There are some minor cracks forming here on the sidewalk. This can be caused by water getting under the slab and washing the soil away. The voids under the slabs do not give the support needed, and cracking can form.

Due to snow and ice melt freezing, melting, and refreezing, changes started to happen to the concrete Pitting can happen from this, as well as shifting of the concrete. SealantPro can help fix these issues.
