As the Vice President of Human Resources, Kari works on recruiting our new employees, retaining our current employees, and improving our training and development programs. With a love for helping others, Kari's positive energy permeates throughout the office and her passion for improvement allows her to explore new problems to solve for the company as a whole.
Born and raised in Sioux City, Kari is no stranger to the construction industry; she started roofing houses at just 14 years old. She is a graduate of Morningside College and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a focus on human resources and marketing. With 15 years of experience in management and human resources, Kari loves working at Thrasher because "I get to bring my whole self here, every day, and make an impact. I love helping others get better."
When she's not at work, you can find Kari spending time with her husband, Kyle, and their 3 sons Nolan, Clayton, and Maddux. She also enjoys traveling and cooking.
