Thrasher Foundation Repair Before & After Photos

This homeowner was tired of cleaning out their gutters all of the times just to keep their basement dry. The knew they wanted a professional to give them the best solution, so they called Thrasher. One of our System Design Specialists, Brandon Headrick, came out to meet with them. Brandon saw how clogged the gutters were, and proposed we install our newer product called RainDrop. RainDrop is a gutter cover, or gutter guard, that keeps leaves, twigs, and other things from piling up and clogging the gutters. The homeowner was very pleased with this outcome! Every time this homeowner hears a new creak in his house he fears the structure is about to fall down. He even set up columns next to the wall to help hold up that end of the house in case something did happen. To relieve his fears he called us to take a look and repair his foundation. The fall was severely bowed, so we installed EverBrace, a steel panel system that strengthens the existing structure. 

This homeowner was concerned about their unlevel sidewalk because they could be liable for injuries if someone were to fall because of it. We assessed that there was settlement occurring and it would only get worse if it's not fixed. We lifted and leveled the concrete slabs with PolyLevel and then sealed the cracks with NexusPro.  

This homeowner just moved to this area with a job that require traveling. When he was back in town for several days, he noticed water coming into the basement through a few places. He decided to take out some of the drywall to see where the water was coming from, and found there was water all along the wall. He called Thrasher and System Design Specialist, Tom Studer, came out to meet with him. Tom showed the homeowner how the water was coming through the cold joints, where the base footing of the foundation meets the walls. This was allowing the water concentration on the outside of the house to seep in. Tom proposed we use WaterGuard at the cold joint to capture the water coming from the cracks surrounding the footing and the wall, as well as CleanSpace. CleanSpace acts as water vapor to collect any water coming through cracks on the walls. This homeowner was so happy with the final results. There is no doubt he can refinish his basement without worry of water intrusion. 

Chad had been doing plenty of research of how to fix his extremely cracked driveway. Others had told him the only way to fix was to do a complete tear out and redo, but he was hopeful someone out there could do a repair fix for him. He read our online reviews and had full confidence in Thrasher and our ability. Kyle Linback, one of our System Design Specialists, came out to meet with Chad. After the free inspection, Kyle had found the cracking and settling was due to poor soil compaction and washout over the years. There were voids under the concrete that were the cause of sinking and cracking. Kyle proposed we use our PolyLevel foam to lift and level the concrete back into place, and our NexusPro to fill in the joints and cracks. The great thing about PolyLevel is that it is waterproof and environmentally friendly! Chad was extremely happy with the results, as he was not ready to replace his concrete.
