Thrasher Foundation Repair Before & After Photos

Homeowner Janet S. of Overland Park, KS was growing worried about the front porch. It was starting to settle and break away from the home. After doing research on Kansas City concrete repair options, she came across Thrasher. She read about our processes and the great customer interactions, so decided to give us a call.

System Design Specialist Bobby Bartow went out to Janet’s home and upon inspection recommended using PolyLevel. The crew was able to inject the PolyLevel foam into the concrete and raise it back up to the original height. Janet was extremely pleased with how this looked with her home.

Homeowner Mary P. of Newton, KS was worried about her concrete. She noticed certain areas were having significant settlement. After getting multiple recommendations about Thrasher and hearing about our process, she gave us a call to come out and inspect her concrete.

System Design Specialist Ben Linnebaur went out to Mary’s home. Upon inspection, he was able to see that the front steps had settled about 1.5 inches and her back A/C slab was also sinking. The crew fixed her concrete with a 3- part concrete protection system. The first part consisted of lifting the settled areas with PolyLevel. For the second part, we sealed all of the cracks and joints with NexusPro Joint Sealant. The third step consisted of applying the whole area with SealantPro, a protective layer to keep the area free of stains. Mary was impressed with the install and the crew!

Deb I. and her siblings recently inherited their parent’s home in Grand Island, NE, and they wanted to have it fully inspected to ensure it’s in proper condition. During the inspection, System Design Specialist Brandon Headrick noticed the home’s crawl space had severely high moisture and humidity levels.

To combat the crawl space issues, Deb opted to have Thrasher encapsulate the entire space. Our team began by completely clearing out the crawl space, and then applied our CleanSpace moisture barrier to all floors and walls. To drain the captured water, the crew installed our SmartDrain system that alerts the homeowner if there’s ever a plumbing leak, and if there is it automatically drains the water into a dry well beneath the CleanSpace waterproof barrier. These two products work together to perform the ultimate crawl space encapsulation in order to keep it dry year-round.

Deb and her siblings were more than pleased with our crawl space solutions. System Design Specialist Josh Brown went out to their home for an inspection. He was able to identify that soil was being washed away due to poor drainage. Also, the footings for the addition were very shallow and that was causing stabilization issues. The crew installed PushPiers to stabilize the wall and lift the settled areas, fixing any future problems. We also lifted the interior concrete of their master bedroom with PolyLevel, getting rid of the trip hazard. The downspouts were also buried to prevent water from collecting around the foundation.

Homeowner Diane K. was noticing concrete sinking at her Wichita, KS home. The concrete had sunk so much that water was starting to pool up next to the entrance of her home. She decided to call Thrasher because of our strong reputation for concrete repairs.

During the inspection, Brent was able to identify that the slab in front of the entrance and sunk and then two additional spots in the driveway had also sunk and cracked. The crew used PolyLevel to lift and level the concrete. Then applied NexusPro Joint Sealant to close the cracks and joints.
