Settled Concrete on Front Porch Walkway

This customer was worried that her home was a tripping hazard due to concrete settlement. The biggest area of concern was the front porch. When we inspected, we found that the two slabs on their front walkway had settled at a couple different joints. This happened due to the soil underneath the slab drying out and shrinking, then eroding away when it would rain.

To fix, we injected a poly foam to lift the slab and eliminate the tripping hazard. We then sealed the joints with a joint sealer to make sure moisture doesn't find its way under the slab again.

100-Year-Old Wall Support

This 100-year-old house had walls that were starting to bow and this homeowner was worried that the foundation may collapse. This bowing-wall problem is caused by the normal geostatic pressure and water pressure pressing the wall for 100 years. We fixed this issue by installing wall support to stabilize the walls and keep them upright.

Sidewalk Repair in Des Moines

This sidewalk was becoming a huge issue for our customer. They were worried a loved one would trip and seriously injure themselves. When we got on-site, we knew we could remove all tripping hazards by injecting PolyLevel beneath the concrete slab. After injecting PolyLevel and lifting the concrete back, we filled the cracks with NexusPro Joint Sealant. NexusPro not only fills in the cracks, but it also prevents any water infiltration. It's a UV-resistant and highly flexible material that lasts over two decades. It also just makes the concrete look 10x better.
