Thrasher Foundation Repair Before & After Photos

This customer wanted the front steps going up to their house to be level and for the top slabs of the driveway to be raised so they can get into the garage easier. We identified that the problem was the soil under the front steps and driveway had settled, causing both areas to drop. The position the steps were falling in created issues opening the front door. We solved this problem by using PolyLevel to lift the steps and slabs of the driveway. 

This homeowner has a lot of elderly visitors and did not want her walkway and front patio to be a tripping hazard. She called Thrasher and System Design Specialist, Jeff Schlimm, came out to help her. Jeff found the patio was sinking due to washout over time. We were able to help by using PolyLevel and NexusPro to lift, level and stabilize the slabs and sealing off the joints. These products are both waterproof, preventing any washout in the future. This homeowner was experiencing structural foundation issues at this home he was looking to sell. He knew he needed to get this fixed before putting it on the market, and needed someone reliable but fast. He called Thrasher and System Design Specialist, Anthony Salcedo, came out to help. Anthony found three of the foundation walls were failing and were in poor condition. Anthony worked with the homeowners engineer with findings of poor soil pushing in and causing stress throughout the crawlspace. With these findings, Anthony went back to the homeowner with a solution. We were able to install Everbrace to restore two of the walls and helical piers on the wall that lacked proper footing. The homeowner and real estate agent were happy with our process and how easy it was to get it all done. There is no doubt the new homeowners of this property are happy with the transferrable warranty, and feel safe in their new home. 

This homeowner was tired of the "speed bump" due to concrete settling as he entered and left his garage. He did not want to replace the drive and also has no plans of moving. He knew roughly what it would take to replace his driveway fully, and knew it would be more affordable to fix. He knew of Thrasher reputation and gave us a call. James Denning, System Design Specialist, came out to meet with him. James saw how settled the driveway was and the homeowner joked that he would either need to get his driveway fixed or buy a Jeep! James helped this homeowner by proposing we use our PolyLevel to lift the sections of the driveway that have sunk, and NexusPro to seal the joints. We also installed a compression guard to provide a true buffer between the street and his home.
