Basement Waterproofing & Drainage Before & After Photos

When water soaks into the concrete walls of your basement, the soil around your house expands and pushes against your foundation. This can cause cracks, leaks, and even foundation problems.

We install our CleanSpace vapor barrier, which is mechanically attached to your basement walls and protects them from water damage. For walls that have already moved inward, we use our PowerBrace system to stabilize and straighten them over time.

This customer didn't want to have to worry about mold and odors in their caused by high humidity. Our team determined that the humidity levels were high in the basement due to a failing dehumidifier no longer providing adequate protection. To stop the humidity in this home, we installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Now this homeowner will no longer have to worry about mold and odors!

This homeowners buried discharge line was originally installed too shallow, causing it to jut out and cause problems with mowing and lawn health - two things that a buried discharge line should make better! We reinstalled the discharge, burying it the appropriate depth and moving it slightly so that it would no longer stick out awkwardly or kill the grass.

Look at this sharp waterproofing system in this basement! There was water coming through the walls and the cold joint, as well as having bowing walls. To help combat these issues we installed our waterproofing systems including CleanSpace and WaterGuard. Cleanspace is the "white stuff on the walls." It is a waterproof, tarp-like material that collects any water from coming in through the walls and sends it to the WaterGuard. WaterGuard collects the water from the CleanSpace and cold joint and sends it to the sump pump, which will discharge the water out of the home at a safe distance. To help the the bowing walls, we installed PowerBraces, which are floor to ceiling braces to prevent any further deflection, and over time can be adjusted to help straighten the wall back out. Night and day difference right there! This basement had a lot of water damage and a bowing wall. After we performed an inspection, we determined the best action plan was to do a full perimeter interior drainage system, install a vapor barrier, and install PowerBrace wall system to support the failing wall.
