These homeowners were concerned about resale value of their home when they found damage to the corner of their basement at the top of the wall. They began looking closely for a cause and found the garage rear entry/ AC slab was settling. They wanted that addressed to prevent additional damage. They gave Thrasher a call because they knew about our reputation. System Design Specialist, Tobias Conrady, came out to meet with them. He found consolidation of soil along the perimeter of the home allowing the rear garage entry to settle. Additionally, a void under the patio that was abandoned when the deck was built over the top. The driveway was also experiencing street creep, causing damage to the stem wall on either side of the garage. Tobias took these findings to the homeowners, and together they decided on a solution. To address the settling slabs and the void under the abandoned patio with PolyLevel. PolyLevel was the best solution as it has the benefit of not disrupting landscaping and has a near immediate return to service. To address the street creep, we used our Compression Guard. This was help the push from the expanding road surfaces. There is no doubt these homeowners have peace of mind about their resale value when the time comes.
