Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

Dirt crawl spaces are common, but they can cause issues to homes. The problems include sagging floors which can be repaired with floor jacks and dirt in vents which can be solved with crawl space encapsulation. In addition, there can be moisture in the crawl space which can be prevented or mitigated with a vapor barrier like CleanSpace.

A home in Forsyth, MO had a dirt crawl space that needed to be repaired. The Thrasher Foundation Repair installed our CleanSpace product. This allowed the homeowner to use the crawl space as a storage area.

One of the best reasons to ensure your foundation is waterproof is to prevent mold growth in your home. This animal hospital had a serious mold problem with its basement due to water seeping in through the foundation. To fix this, we applied our product, CleanSpace, which is a 20-mil thick liner designed to block moisture from entering through cracks in foundations. 

This customer was experiencing cold floors caused by poor insolation of their crawl space.  We installed full encapsulation with insulation to walls and rim joists of the crawlspace. 

This large hall called Eagles Lodge in Ozark, MO has been a staple in the community for the past 30 years, and the organization wants it to last another 30. However, it’s in desperate need of a flooring job due to its size and length. The structure originally had three wood beams beginning to rot resting on failing concrete blocks. After comparing our solution to competing companies, they knew ours was the permanent solution they needed to make it last another 30 years.

 From there, System Design Specialist Max Huggins began the project. In order to give the flooring the support it needed, the team installed four 70 foot long steel beams to replace the rotting wood ones. For increased support and structure, the steel beams were paired with our SmartJack crawl space support system that’s galvanized for corrosion resistance. Although this is a permanent fix, Max explained the importance of the warranty in place to guarantee this structure is built to last.

 The community was impressed throughout the duration of the project, and they’re thrilled Eagle Lodge will be around for the distant future. In addition to the tangible results, they were pleased with our team’s ability to deliver an incredible experience.

They had a moisture issue that was leaving a damp musty smell in the house and cold floors. They wanted to control the moisture while helping keep the crawlspace dry

We used clean space to control the soil moisture and silver glow to put in the rim joist to help keep the home's value up and heat trapped inside the house. We also reinstalled a sump pump to help keep water from sitting under the house.
