Tony was experiencing water in his basement, which began to affect his finished walls and floors. He travels for work and didn't want his wife to worry about water in the basement while he was away. He needed more than just waterproofing in the basement, the walls began to bow, due to the pressure built up in the fill soil around his home. Tony knew that Thrasher would come up with a long-term solution for his basement waterproofing and foundation needs. 

Water in your basement usually comes in from the cold joint after pressure is built up in the backfill soil around your home. A cold joint is located where the wall meets the footing when the foundation of the home is poured. In this case, there was constant lateral pressure from water-saturated clay soil behind one of the walls in Tony's home, causing it to move inward, and for water to get through the cold joint. 

For this project, we were able to use WaterGaurd and Cleanspace to prevent water from pooling in the basement. There was a TripleSafe sump pump installed to protect the basement when Tony is away. With TripleSafe there is a battery backup, where if the power were to go out, the pump would still work. For wall support on this project was installing PowerBrace to stop wall movement, and allow for straightening over time. The final service that was added to Tony's home was an egress window*. This will add to his property value overall.
