Sump Pump Replacement in Lexington, NE

A homeowner in Lexington, NE had old pumps that were starting to show signs of wear. During an annual service appointment, our service technician brought up his concerns about the aging system. After showing the homeowner how old the system was, we were able to install a new sump pump and the homeowner was very grateful to Thrasher for catching this before the whole system failed. 

Waterproofing in Farnam, NE

This homeowner was a first time home owner and started noticing his basement was leaking water. He wasn't planning on ever finishing his basement, but liked using it for storage. He knew he couldn't have water get into his storage boxes, so he called Thrasher. System Design Specialist, Jeremey Scott, came out to meet with him. Jeremey did his free inspection, and took his findings back to the homeowner. He found the water was coming in through cracks in the wall and the cold joints and footing. He proposed we use our waterproofing system WaterGuard and Cleanspace. Cleanspace is a plastic, but durable, tarp like sheet that is installed to the wall to collect any water that may get in. The Cleanspace is waterproof, so it prevents mold growth. The water will trickledown and into the WaterGuard, which is a drainage system. This will send it into a sump pump and out of the home. The homeowner was very happy with this idea, and we sent out with our installation team. There is no doubt this homeowner is worrying about water getting into his storage area anymore. 

CrawlSpace Encapsulation in Gothenburg, NE

This homeowner had a tiny crawlspace that was housing a very musty smell. She knew of Thrasher, that we service her area, and of our reputation. System Design Specialist, Cassius McClintic, came out to meet with her. Cassius found the crawlspace was a very tight squeeze, so we installed our Turtl, which allows more space to get into and out of the crawl. To help combat the musty smell, we installed our CrawlSpace encapsulation. This is our tarp like material that is very durable and waterproof. It allows water to keep out of the living area, and into the drainage system. The homeowner loved this solution and we know she does not have to worry about the musty smell coming back any time soon.
