Waterproofing and Wall Support in Beattie, KS

This home was built in 1994, it has been the family home for years and these homeowners are planning on passing it down generation to generation. They wanted to make sure it was safe and sound for their daughter to move into! They called Thrasher, because they knew of the great work we do. One of our System Design Specialists, Eric Wulf, came out to meet with them. After the inspection, Eric found water entering the fill soil around the home building up, causing the walls to crack and lean inward. The water then found itself flowing through a crack and into the basement. Eric proposed we fix this issue by installing WaterGuard. The WaterGuard is our drainage channel to carry the water to the sump pump and out of the home. Eric also proposed our Geo-Lock system. These are anchors that attach to the wall and into the ground to stabilize the walls. They can also straighten the walls out over time! These homeowners loved the solutions and we got to work. They were so happy and impressed with the work the crew did. No doubt they will be stress free about their home when moving day comes!

The back patio of these homeowners house had been pretty bad for a while. They wished they could go there like they use to, but it had become unsafe for them as there were so many tripping hazards. They called Thrasher because they knew of our quality repairs. System Design Specialist, Neil Kwiatkowski, came out to meet with them. He inspected the settled concrete, and proposed we use our PolyLevel and Nexus Pro to get it fixed. PolyLevel is our foam that is injected under the concrete to lift and level, where NexusPro is used to fill in the gap, joints, and cracks. The difference was amazing! The homeowners were so happy they could use their patio again without worries of tripping!

This homeowner was experiencing some water concerns and knew she did not want to pass on these problems to the next generation who would own the home. Eric did his inspection and saw water from the downspouts and other sources entered the fill soil around the homes foundation. The soil caused the foundation wall to lean inward. Several cracks formed and water found a path of least resistance into the basement through the cracks. Eric went back to the homeowner with these findings and a solution. Together, they decided we would be installing WaterGuard waterproofing system to keep the basement dry as well as Geo-Lock wall anchors to permanently stabilize the foundation wall. WaterGuard is our drainage system that collects water that gets into the basement and sends it to a sump pump and out of the home. On the exterior we would bury all the downspouts. The homeowner loved this solution and we sent out our installation team. There is no doubt this homeowner does not have to worry about any more water issues for generations to come.
