A new homeowner in Fort Calhoun, NE loves having his grandchildren over, they spend a lot of time outdoors. He recently started noticing that some of the cement had sunk and water was coming into the basement. Wanting to keep the area safe for his family, he called Thrasher.

Upon inspection, the crew was able to identify that a portion of the drive had sunk leaving room for water to pool under the concrete. The crew was able to lift the concrete with PolyLevel and then used NexusPro Joint Sealant to seal the cracks and joints.

A homeowner in Blair, NE wanted to get her concrete repaired. Water had caused the soil to wash away and allow the concrete to settle. The crew used PolyLevel and NexusPro Joint Sealant to level and seal the joints. 

After moving in and being told they did not have water issues, it rained and these homeowners found out that there was water intrusion into the basement. They looked into grading and thought that it was fixed, then a few months later got water into the basement again. They had to tear out the carpet twice, tear our drywall, and move their daughter into a different room because of the water. At this point, the were tired of dealing with water and wanted a permanent solution. As soon as they knew they had a bigger problem than just fixing the grading, they wanted the best company to solve their issues for the long term. They had heard of us and knew it was a project that was going to be done correctly and we had the service to back up the project. System Design Specialist, Tony Taylor, came out to meet with them. Tony did his inspection, and found water was coming into the basement through the cold joints. After they adjust the grading, it kept the water at bay for short while, but found the old pathway back into the basement and continued to intrude on the basement floor. This ruined the finished areas of the basement. Tony and the homeowners came together to go over different solutions. Together, they decided on using a full perimeter waterproofing system to solve the problem. We used Cleanspace as a total vapor barrier to stop the moisture coming through the walls. We used WaterGuard around the perimeter and ran it to a TripleSafe system to discharge the water. They added an egress well onto the project for safety with one daughter staying in the basement. Although it is not uncommon for new homeowners to experience water from a non-disclosed problem, they had bought the house with plans for the basement that were interrupted by the water coming in. They were very happy with the finished product and knew the solution was perfect for them. 

A homeowner in Blair, NE had noticed that the concrete leading out from her back door had begun to sink down. This was causing a tripping hazard and gave them concerns that someone would trip coming in or out the door. PoleyLevel foam expands under the concrete to lift and support the slab without adding any extra weight to the soil underneath. Then NexusPro is used to seal and protect the joints in the concrete preventing water or other chemicals from getting under the slab causing these issues again. 

Our customer can now safely use their backdoor without the concerns of someone tripping over the settled concrete. They were thrilled with the results!
